Delivery Driver
About the role
This role is responsible for handling the delivery, pickup and movement of clients' copiers, printers, and other office technology and products, utilizing our established copier delivery processes and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Determine the correct location for clients' equipment
- Have clients sign off on the delivery
- Answer any questions clients may have
- Process delivery calls
Requirements
- 1-2 years of Customer Service Experience
- Ability to be self-motivated, but also work cohesively with a team
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds periodically throughout the day
- Ability to drive safely and work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Possess a modern smart phone capable of saving notes, sending/receiving emails in real-time and accessing the internet via your carrier's cellular network
- No offensive tattoos are permitted and excessive tattoos may require covering
- Must be willing to submit to a criminal background check and MVR report
- Must have a clean driving record with no DUI or reckless driving convictions in the past 5 years
Qualifications
The ideal candidate has good written and verbal communications skills; can work independently and within a larger team; has a strong sense of urgency and time management and has an upbeat, positive attitude towards the challenges each day presents. This person should also have experience working in a customer service position, be flexible with their work hours, and experience handling deliveries in a professional setting is highly preferred. Experience driving a 16 foot, or larger, box truck is a plus.
