About the role

The main responsibility of Domino's Pizza Delivery Driver is to deliver the orders to the designated locations on time. Punctuality and honesty are key attitudes we look for in applicants.

Responsibilities

• Punctual and honest behavior is essential.
• Minimum age of 18 years with two years or more licensed experience required.
• Knowledge of reading a basic road map is necessary.
• Ensure orders are delivered correctly and on time in a courteous manner.
• Maintain delivery vehicles before and after shifts.
• Aid in food preparation, taking customer's orders, cleaning duties, and rotating food shipments including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Be well versed in product details, services, charges, and related important information.
• Work outdoors in various temperatures, in a noisy environment, near moving mechanical parts, with dangerous equipment or sharp tools, and around fumes, odors, dust or toxic chemicals.
• Perform physically demanding tasks such as using hands repetitively, standing for prolonged periods, bending over, twisting, reaching above shoulder level, crouching, stooping, or kneeling.
• Specific duties include: Pre-Delivery vehicle preparations, Learning the delivery area, Checking orders for quality and accuracy, Providing quality customer service through positive and professional interaction with customers in person or by phone, Food preparation and packaging, Taking orders and collecting payments, Cleaning and maintenance of the store and its equipment, Rotating commissary deliveries.

• Cash management skills.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license under the laws of the state where the team member works, and have been licensed for two or more years.
• An acceptable motor vehicle report/driving abstract, which includes no more than two moving violations and one accident in the last year.
• No DUI or speeding ticket over 24 mph.
• Insured and have a satisfactory vehicle.
• Willing to work long hours, scheduled or unscheduled, which will include nights, weekends, and as emergencies arise.
• Willing to learn and be comfortable being cross-trained and perform other workstation duties within the restaurant as needed.
• Perform the above listed duties with reasonable accommodation if needed.

Pay

The pay range for Delivery Drivers is $17.13-$17.60, reimbursement for miles driven based on a third party surveyor's recommended reimbursement rate, currently at $.43 per mile, reimbursement for data usage and any credit card/cash tips paid to the driver from the customers.
