Delivery Driver - 4:00 am - 12:30 pm (M-F)

About the role
Reporting to the Supervisor, the Delivery Driver is responsible for driving and operating a delivery van and straight truck, transporting cargo between customer locations. When not delivering, drivers assist with various warehouse and distribution center duties.
Responsibilities
- Drive product to various customer locations
- Load and unload trucks according to established procedures
- Complete daily shipping paperwork
- Inspect assigned equipment for proper operation and report issues to the Delivery Supervisor
- Accurately identify and count inventory in assigned areas
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and hand trucks
- Maintain general housekeeping of the warehouse and delivery vehicles
- Follow safe work habits and established safety procedures
- Attend meetings and training sessions
- Perform other warehouse tasks as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (appropriate state licensing required)
- Must pass a DOT Medical Exam and obtain a 1-Year Card (paid for by The Kendall Group)
- Ability to use standard office equipment, including bar code scanners, printers, and warehouse tools
- Basic math and reasoning skills
- Excellent work ethic, verbal, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift, move, and carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, reach, twist, and climb for up to 8 hours a day
- Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, and climb stairs or step ladders
Qualifications

- Experience in industrial wholesale distribution
