About the role
The McLane team is a diverse group of professionals who work together to keep operations running smoothly. As a Delivery Assistant, you will provide direct support to a McLane Delivery Driver, unloading trailers and ensuring accurate and on-time deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Unload trailer using a hand truck or 2-wheeled dolly.
- Place all delivery items in customer-designated food-safe storage areas.
- Aid the Driver's efforts to ensure accurate and on-time deliveries.
- Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age.
- Lift and move product and pallets weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely.
