Deli Shift Leader I

About the role

Deli Shift Leaders supervise team members in the hot deli area, provide excellent guest service, assist the Deli Manager by ensuring food is fresh, the area is clean and well stocked, and require basic food safety knowledge and food service experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise team members in the hot deli area.
• Provide excellent guest service.
• Assist the Deli Manager to ensure food in the hot deli is fresh.
• Keep the deli area clean and well stocked.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar position, preferably with a restaurant or foodservice background.
• Incredible customer service skills and ability to help maintain a customer‑focused culture.
• Ability to maintain equipment according to food safety standards.
• Ability to work as part of a team and interact with hourly team members, customers, vendors, and corporate representatives.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule of nights, days, weekends, and holidays.

Pay

Starting pay: $15.70 – $23.33 per hour.
