Deli Counter Service (full-time position, benefits-eligible)

About the role

Deli Counter Service Full Time; Benefits Eligible. Reports to Food Services Assistant Manager. Purpose: To provide prompt, friendly, helpful customer service at the deli counter, including taking and fulfilling orders for espresso drinks, slicing meats, sandwiches, and services offered at the deli counter. To help the Deli meet goals for sales, margin, labor expense and customer service. Adhere to standards and guides of Deli policies.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers from sandwich counter, meat and cheese cases, and espresso bar in prompt, friendly, and courteous manner.
• Adhere to menu, recipes and portioning when fulfilling orders.
• Fulfill customer orders in timely and accurate fashion.
• Slice cheese and meat to order for customers.
• Stock deli and cheese displays cases fully to give feeling of abundance.
