Overview

Are you passionate about great quality food and love helping people? Nugget Markets is looking for personable and enthusiastic food lovers to join our team of talented deli clerks! Individual associate hourly rates are based on factors including experience, location, and length of employment.

Responsibilities

• Sharing product knowledge and promoting the department's items while providing world-class service to our diverse guests
• Preparing sandwiches according to posted menu and guest requests
• Slicing meats and cheeses
• Preparing rotisserie chickens
• Maintaining a clean, sanitary and attractive work environment

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have proficient knowledge and use of commercial kitchen equipment
• Must have basic to proficient knife skills
• Previous food service experience is helpful, but not required
• Basic understanding of the English language, which includes the ability to communicate and read basic instructions, schedules and signage
• Excellent communication skills and strong work ethic
• Ability to learn and retain product knowledge
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• A positive attitude is essential!
