Pay

Progressive scale up to $18.00 per hour, based on experience. Possibility of earning an additional $3.00 per hour if you have open availability.

Schedule

Sunday – Saturday, varied hours. Flexible schedule available.

Responsibilities

• Prepare deli products including a variety of meats and cheeses (may require handling pork)
• Fill and rotate cases and displays (may involve lifting up to 50 lbs)
• Maintain a clean and sanitary store environment
• Collaborate with the team on all tasks necessary for department operations
• Build lasting connections with customers
• Operate equipment including scanner, register, scale, slicer, wrapper, knives, roaster, chicken fryer, pizza oven, and cleaning utensils

Requirements

• Willingness to work varied hours, including weekends
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs frequently and over 50 lbs occasionally
• Capability to push/pull 500 to 1500 pounds
• Comfortable with frequent standing, walking, reaching, stooping/bending, and squatting
• Exposure to hot/cold temperatures, hot equipment, and cooking oil
• Strong judgment, decision-making, and social/verbal interaction skills
• Basic reading, writing, and math abilities
