Pay

Progressive scale up to $18.00 per hour, based on experience. Possibility of earning an additional $3.00 per hour if you have open availability.

Schedule

Sunday – Saturday, varied hours

Responsibilities

• Prepare deli products including a variety of meats and cheeses (you may have to handle pork)
• Fill and rotate cases and display (may include heavy lifting up to 50 lbs)
• Help maintain a clean and sanitary store
• Work with the team on all tasks necessary to support the department
• Be a part of a dedicated team that arrives promptly for shifts and works as scheduled

• Attended Food Safety training or willingness to complete it

Physical Demands

• Frequent (15% of shift or at least ten repetitions): lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs, pushing/pulling 500–1500 lbs, walking, reaching, standing, stooping/bending, squatting
• Occasional (less than 15% of shift or fewer than 10 repetitions): lifting/carrying over 50 lbs, crawling
• Environmental exposure: hot and cold temperatures, hot equipment, and cooking oil

Equipment Used

• Scanner, register, scale, check approval machine, coupon machine, intercom
• Pallet jack, highboy cart, box cutter, tongs, steamer, slicer, wrapper, knives
• Roaster, chicken fryer, chicken hot case, pizza oven, coffee pot, cleaning utensils
