About the role

The Bakery & Deli Department Manager oversees the Bakery and Deli departments, working under the guidance of the Fresh Foods Sr. Manager. Key responsibilities include leading daily operations, managing inventory and orders, delivering guest service, maintaining smooth workflows, and ensuring department readiness.

Qualifications

• High School Education or equivalent
• At least five years of grocery, deli, bakery, retail or restaurant experience
• Thorough knowledge of the retail food business and perishable department operations
• Effective merchandising skills
• Timely and effective decision-making
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to interact with a diverse team in a stressful environment
• Thorough understanding of all safety requirements and company safety policies
• WI Certified Food Manager License (Festival will pay for certification if not)

Work Schedule

The position is full-time with a flexible schedule including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
