Essential Functions
- Performs repairs and upgrades to rental units within the northern region.
- Performs regularly scheduled preventative maintenance within intern housing units.
- Aids Housing Administrator with annual housing inspections.
- Aids Housing Administrator with maintaining current lists for tasks to be completed for each unit.
- Acts as liaison between Housing Administrator and contractors to ensure contracted work is completed in a timely manner and meets the Division’s standards.
- Maintain a positive attitude.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Six months experience in performing work in a variety of trades fields such as plumbing, carpentry, painting, or HVAC.
- Six months experience in record keeping.
- Knowledge of estimating cost, time, and materials for projects.
- Possession of a valid Driver's License (not suspended, revoked, or cancelled, or disqualified from driving).

- This is a Casual/Seasonal position which is a non-pension eligible position without healthcare and/or other benefits.
- This position will have Statewide responsibilities which requires travel throughout the State.
- The State of Delaware provides transportation services to State agencies.
