About the role

The Delivery Helper is responsible for loading, locating job sites, backing, preparing and restoring the job site, and preparing the truck for the following day while maintaining the truck and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Comply with company, state, and federal guidelines, particularly OSHA and DOT, to ensure the safety of all personnel.
• Perform pre-trip inspections of equipment, paperwork, and loaded product to verify order accuracy.
• Safely unload and deliver product to assigned areas as directed by the customer.
• Secure mud, equipment, metal, and pallets on the truck.
• Navigate routes to job sites.
• Load, unload, and position materials from flatbed or boom.
• Maintain and prepare the truck for daily operations and the following day.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and communicate information accurately.
• Physical stamina to lift at least 75 lbs., including materials such as drywall and joint compound.
• Ability to move materials weighing up to 100 lbs. while unloading and loading flatbeds.
• Must remain standing 90% of the time.
• Ability to work outside in various conditions while making deliveries.
