About the role
This person will perform final tests for all PSD products and must have the ability to work and communicate effectively in a team environment.
Essential Functions
- Following written procedures
- Performing high voltage test and final tests for all products
- Troubleshooting and solving problems
- Ordering materials/parts as needed
- Understanding MRD principles
- Understanding ITW operating principles and applying them to the manufacturing area
- Training others
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Electromechanical, Electronics Technology, Automotive Technology, or related field
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to interpret schematics, bill of material, and layout drawings
- Ability to read and understand circuit and wiring diagrams
- Good knowledge of basic electricity
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Self-starter with a positive attitude
- Quality conscious with concern for the customer's needs and on-time delivery
- Demonstrate leadership skills
- Committed to teamwork and team goals
- Personally accountable
- Cross training in all areas of manufacturing is required
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous assembly or manufacturing experience
- Knowledge of engine drive products
- Knowledge of welding processes
- Knowledge of small engines
Schedule
- Must be willing to work flexible shifts during peak production times
- Must be willing to work overtime as required (12 hrs/day and/or Saturdays/Sundays)
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift, push, or pull 10-25 lbs
- Occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull 25-45 lbs
- Frequently required to use both hands to assemble, wire, carry bins, tools, and components
- Constant standing and hand manipulation
- Occasionally reaching, walking, and neck flection
- Must be able to stand for up to 12 hours per day
