About the role

This person will perform final tests for all PSD products and must have the ability to work and communicate effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Follow written procedures
  • Perform high voltage test and final tests for all products
  • Troubleshoot and solve problems
  • Order materials/parts as needed
  • Understand MRD principles
  • Understand ITW operating principles and apply them to the manufacturing area
  • Train others
  • Cross training in all areas of manufacturing

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Electromechanical, Electronics Technology, Automotive Technology, or related field
  • Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to interpret schematics, bill of material and layout drawings
  • Ability to read and understand circuit and wiring diagrams
  • Good knowledge of basic electricity
  • Good mechanical aptitude
  • Knowledge of engine drive products preferred
  • Knowledge of welding processes and small engines is a plus

Schedule

  • Must be willing to work flexible shifts during peak production times
  • Must be willing to work overtime as required (12 hrs/day and/or Saturdays/Sundays)

Physical requirements

  • Frequently lift, push, or pull 10-25 lbs
  • Occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull 25-45 lbs
  • Frequently required to use both hands to assemble, wire, carry bins, tools and components
  • Constant standing and hand manipulation
  • Occasionally reaching, walking, and neck flexion
  • Be able to stand for up to 12 hours per day
