Responsibilities

• Defend a variety of Insurance Defense matters, including General Liability, Personal Injury, Product Liability, and Professional Liability.
• Handle cases at the firm's growing Vermont practice from suit inception to settlement or trial.

Requirements

2 to 10+ years of relevant experience in Insurance Defense.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate Degree
• Active Vermont Bar License (Required)
• Active Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Maine, or Rhode Island Bar License (Required)
• Trial experience (Required)

Skills

• Experience with Insurance Defense
• Experience writing motions and other legal memoranda
• Experience summarizing depositions (preferred)
• Ability to work independently from suit inception to settlement/trial (preferred)
