Defense Strategy Professional
About the role
We’re looking for a defense strategy professional to drive solutions for missions that keep our nation safe. As a Defense Strategy Professional, you’ll combine military strategy, business strategy, analytical expertise, and knowledge of current and emerging artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to support organizational goals and execution.
You’ll identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, processes related to the evolution of warfare, national security strategies, and the role of the defense industrial base. Further your career with us as you help solve complex design, integration, and analytical problems for the Department of War.
Responsibilities
As a defense strategy professional, you will use your skills to think bigger and push further, solving complex problems. You will inform, develop, and support innovative solutions to complex problems that align with client strategic objectives.
You will be a self-starter, manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, work independently and as part of a team, analyze complex data, and prioritize tasks.
Requirements
- Experience conducting open-source research or market research
- Ability to ramp up on a range of topics quickly, including foreign and domestic policy, emerging technologies, market analysis, or best practices analysis
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in an international affairs, international politics, political science, linguistics, economics, or regional studies field

- Experience leveraging agentic AI to accelerate outcomes
- Experience developing talking points and briefing materials for senior leaders
- Demonstrated experience producing client-ready products and written materials for the Department of War
- Possession of excellent critical thinking skills
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Secret clearance
- Master's degree in International Affairs, International Politics, Political Science, Linguistics, Economics, Regional Studies, or a related field

Pay
The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
Schedule
Remote, hybrid, or onsite work arrangements may be available, depending on the specific needs of the role and the company. If this position is listed as remote, there may still be occasions when you are required to work in person at a Booz Allen or customer facility.
