Deep Cleaner - Part Time

About the role

This position requires extensive knowledge of floor care equipment as well as floor care cleaning processes, procedures, and chemical usage. The Deep Cleaner provides excellent customer service to employees and vendors in all situations. All duties are performed within the guidelines of Horseshoe Indianapolis policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards, and Indiana Gaming Regulations. Note: this position will not involve any function involving casino gambling by patrons.

Responsibilities

• Clean all surfaces in restrooms, casino gaming floor, and back-of-house areas.
• Utilize floor care equipment to maintain all flooring.
• Foster a fun environment and be gracious to all guests and co-workers.
• Promote a positive influence in the community and participate in company-sponsored events.
• Enthusiastically support, actively promote, and demonstrate superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.

Requirements

• Experience in cleaning, janitorial, or housekeeping preferred.
• May require a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to obtain an Indiana Horse Racing Commission (IHRC) License.
• Must possess good interpersonal skills.
• Available to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Frequent standing, walking, stooping, bending, reaching, climbing steps, and sitting.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Must be able to work in a highly populated, fast-paced, and noisy environment.
• Requires access to the gaming floor.
