Dedicated Service Account Manager

The Onsite Service Account Manager serves as a key liaison for members, customers, and providers by delivering expert guidance on UnitedHealthcare benefits, resolving claims and service inquiries, and supporting wellness initiatives at the worksite.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise and customer service support to members, customers and/or providers
• Serve as the liaison to a complex customer base to manage first level response and resolution of escalated issues with external and internal customers
• Identify and resolve operational problems using defined processes, expertise and judgment
• Investigate claim and/or customer service issues as identified and communicate resolution to customers
• Provide feedback to team members regarding improvement opportunities
• Work as a member of the client's Benefits Team

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• 4+ years of direct client-facing customer service experience and/or account management experience
• Experience with medical insurance terminology
• Knowledge and understanding of claims processing
• Experience communicating complex problem-solving scenarios with clients and internal stakeholders
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (general spreadsheet navigation, sorting and data entry), Microsoft Word (creating and editing documents), Microsoft PowerPoint (basic presentations), and Microsoft Outlook (email and calendar)
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time within the Pasco County School District
• Must live within 20 miles of Tampa, FL

Schedule

• Full-time (40 hours per week), Monday - Friday
• Normal business hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST
• Occasional overtime may be required based on business needs
• 4 weeks of paid onsite training with ongoing mentorship afterward

Preferred Qualifications

• ISET Claims Systems experience
• UNET Based Programs experience
• CES, TOPS experience
• Experience in claims payments, claims adjustments, or enrollments
• Ability to multi-task, including understanding multiple products and multiple levels of benefits within each product
• Effective written and verbal communication skills

Pay

The salary for this role will range from $24 - $43 hourly based on full-time employment.
