The Onsite Service Account Manager serves as a key liaison for members, customers, and providers by delivering expert guidance on UnitedHealthcare benefits, resolving claims and service inquiries, and supporting wellness initiatives at the worksite.

This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with required business hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday. Occasional overtime may be necessary based on business needs. We offer 4 weeks of paid onsite training with ongoing mentorship afterward.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise and customer service support to members, customers, and/or providers.
• Serve as the liaison to a complex customer base to manage first-level response and resolution of escalated issues with external and internal customers.
• Identify and resolve operational problems using defined processes, expertise, and judgment.
• Investigate claim and/or customer service issues as identified and communicate resolution to customers.
• Provide feedback to team members regarding improvement opportunities.
• Work as a member of the client's Benefits Team.

Requirements

• High School Diploma / GED or equivalent work experience.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 4+ years of direct client-facing customer service experience and/or account management experience.
• Experience with medical insurance terminology.
• Knowledge and understanding of claims processing.
• Experience communicating complex problem-solving scenarios with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (general spreadsheet navigation, sorting, and data entry), Microsoft Word (creating and editing documents), Microsoft PowerPoint (basic presentations), and Microsoft Outlook (email and calendar).
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time within the Pasco County School District.
• Must live within 20 miles of Tampa, FL.

Preferred Qualifications

• ISET Claims Systems experience.
• UNET Based Programs Experience.
• CES, TOPS Experience in Claims Payments, Claims Adjustments, or Enrollments.
• Ability to multi-task, including understanding multiple products and multiple levels of benefits within each product.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Pay

The salary for this role will range from $24 to $43 hourly based on full-time employment.
