About the role
Perform housekeeping / decontamination activities in all Radiological Control Areas. Operate various test equipment and machines as needed to perform duties such as high-pressure washers, laundry machines, RP meters, etc…
Responsibilities
- Climb ladders and work at multiple heights
- Meet all applicable requirements to maintain unescorted access
- Lift 50 pounds
- Complete training / certification to operate different equipment including: High pressure sprayers, vacuums, small pendant cranes, hoists, miscellaneous equipment
- Understand oral and written communications, technical requirements, procedures and directives associated with working at a nuclear plant.
- May require a respirator physical and training
- Work in adverse conditions such as high temperatures, confined spaces.
Requirements
Minimum of High School Diploma or GED
Pass a drug test
Pass a security background
