Decontamination Technician
Key Responsibilities
- Climb ladders and work at multiple heights
- Meet all applicable requirements to maintain unescorted access
- Lift 50 pounds
- Complete Training / Certification To Operate Different Equipment Including High pressure sprayers, vacuums, small pendant cranes, hoist miscellaneous equipment
- Understand oral and written communications, technical requirements, procedures and directives associated with working at a nuclear plant
- May require a respirator physical and training
- Work in adverse conditions such as high temperatures, confined spaces
Qualifications
- Minimum of High School Diploma or GED
- Pass a drug test
- Pass a security background check

Pay
The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $20/hour to $21/hour.

About the Role
Westinghouse is currently looking for a Decontamination Technician with a minimum of 6 months experience to work long term at the Brunswick Steam Electric Plant, located in Southport, NC. This position does not pay per diem, and there are no relocation fees.
