Responsibilities
- Maintains a clean work area
- Communicates appropriately using good interpersonal skills
- Removes returned goods from packaging for cleaning
- Cleaning and sterilizing equipment as necessary and following Hamilton Safety Procedures
- Enter progress information in RMA document pertaining to returned goods
- Ensures parts requiring rebuild or in-depth mechanical analysis are delivered to the respective department
- Must work independently
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Be conscientious, industrious, precise and reliable
- Pay close attention to detail and have the ability to retain knowledge of the work involved
- Accept responsibility and prefer activities of a repetitive nature
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management Systems
- Ability to work harmoniously within the department as well as interfacing with all other departments
- Position requires exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move light objects
- Knowledge of decontamination and sterilization process
- Knowledge of proper PPE equipment
- Must be able to pass a fit test for respirator
About the Role
Hamilton Company is looking for a Decontamination/RMA Processor who will be performing all duties associated with returned goods. The Decon/RMA Processor will be responsible for the decontamination, preparation, sterilization and distribution of instruments utilizing infection control and safety practices during all phases of the process.
