Deburring Team Lead
About the role
Bosch Rexroth, dba HydraForce, Inc., is seeking a skilled individual to assist the Supervisor in managing the deburring team. The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent, no prior experience required, and 6 months of experience in a manufacturing environment. They must possess basic computer skills, comfort working around machinery, and the ability to train new employees on production processes.
Responsibilities
- Deburr parts per the process card
- Manually deburr manifold blocks
- Perform safety checks on thermal deburr machine prior to operation
- Operate the thermal deburring machine
- Check completed manifolds for damage and contamination
- Stack finished product as directed by work instructions on pallets or crates
- Organize work based off production list
- Support Deburring team when issues come up, notify supervisor as needed
- Identify tapped holes that need plugs for thermal deburring personnel
- Receive completed orders
- Send email stating jobs that have been received and ready for CMP
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Comply with all safety and sanitation regulations
- Use all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required and instructed
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- No prior experience required; 6 month’s experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to read blueprints
- Basic computer skills
- Comfort level working around machinery in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to train new employees on production process successfully, T.W.I. training required
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to work as part of a team
Physical Requirements
- Lift and move up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Able to sit or stand for long periods of time
- Work in a manufacturing environment where temperatures are often warm or cool, depending upon the season, and noise level can be moderate to high
- PPE required as determined by company safety standards: safety glasses, ear plugs, gloves, safety shoes
Additional Information
Salary and Benefits: The hourly range for the position is $20 - $23.20/hour. The individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc. The Recruiter can share more details about the specific salary range during the interview process.
Must Have: Must have US work authorization. Indefinite U.S. work authorized individuals only. Future sponsorship for work authorization is not available.
