Deburring - Finisher

About the role

Deburr personnel are responsible for performing duties including deburring, sanding, and polishing parts during the Manufacturing Process.

Responsibilities

• Use small hand tools to clean up cosmetic issues on parts
• Read and comprehend information on shop job travelers
• Use basic precision measurement tools
• Compare estimate times on job travelers to actual times
• Follow all standardized work procedures and specific instructions given by the supervisor

Requirements

• Basic math skills
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, blueprints, and procedure manuals
• Understands processes used in removing scratches, excess weld material, and burs
• High degree of manual dexterity while using a microscope
• The use of a microscope is required for up to 8 hours per day
• Sitting for a long period up to 8 hours per day
• Strong written & oral communication skills to support business needs in an English-speaking environment
• Ability to effectively communicate with employees of the organization
• Ability to understand how their actions may affect other portions of the business

Schedule

• Tuesday – Friday: 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm
• Saturday: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
