Key Responsibilities
- Deburr and finish machined components using hand tools, rotary tools, and other deburring equipment.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
- Inspect parts for burrs, sharp edges, nicks, and surface defects.
- Work closely with machinists, quality inspectors, and assembly teams to meet part specifications.
- Ensure proper handling and protection of precision parts during the finishing process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety and 5S standards.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in deburring or a related precision manufacturing role (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Ability to use microscopes, calipers, and other inspection tools.
- Familiarity with aerospace and defense industry standards (AS9100, ISO 13485, etc.) is a plus.
- Must be a team player with good communication skills.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs as needed.
