Deburr Technician - AMT

About the role

The Deburr Technician blends mismatches and edge breaks parts to customer specifications. This position offers level 1 - Journey Lvl. Wage scale posted reflects through level 1 - level 3.

Responsibilities

• Understands and meets customer requirements, such as BAC 5300 and BAC 5730.
• Uses Technician tools like deburr guns, pencil grinders, etc. to meet customer specifications.
• Follows all safety guidelines established by the Company, including proper use of safety equipment and relevant safety procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Demonstrates a good attitude toward work and arrives on time for start of shift.
• Follows instructions and demonstrates strong attention to detail.
• Communicates well verbally and in writing.
• Mechanically inclined, with good manual dexterity.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Ability to perform basic functions with MS Windows-based computer operating systems, such as opening and closing files.
• One year on-the-job experience.
• Completion of aptitude test during interview process.

Physical Demands

• Stand for much of the workday.
• Combination of walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, bending, lifting and carrying and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to see, hear and smell in order to detect problems.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
• Wear hearing protection and safety glasses at all times in the work area.

• Shift Differentials - $4.00 per hour (weekday night shift), $2.00 per hour (weekend day shift), $4.00 per hour (weekend night shift).

$23.00 per hour to $28.00 per hour
