Deburr Operator-3rd Shift

Responsibilities

• Grind, file, sand and polish metal surfaces to a specified shape and smoothness using grinding hand tools.
• Clean interior surfaces of holes using reamer or burr whip.
• Lift and position metal parts on bench.
• Remove burrs and smooth out contoured surfaces with power tools.
• Verify dimensions and radii using micrometers, dial indicators and calipers.
• Ensure organized and clean work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
• Exercise good housekeeping practices.
• Perform repetitive motions involving wrist, arms, and hands.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a parts finisher preferred.
• Excellent attendance record.
• Ability to use vibratory hand tools for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to use necessary hand tools to properly perform the job.
• Must be able to burr parts in a safe and efficient manner.

Harlow Aerostructures LLC is an ITAR facility, and employees must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
