Debug Technician (G-Project)- 2nd Shift (2PM-10PM)

Main Functions

Product Debug and Testing:

  • Perform functional tests and failure analysis on non-conforming products.
  • Manually or electronically record information and report recurring issues related to processes, materials, or equipment.
  • Participate in teams responsible for developing corrective actions.

Engineering Systems and IT Equipment:

  • Support and maintain engineering systems and IT tools used throughout various production phases.
  • Regularly inspect and perform virus control checks.
  • Participate in building or modifying new or existing IT infrastructure.

Test Systems and Test Stations:

  • Periodically inspect and maintain test systems, test infrastructure, and testing tools.
  • Involvement in setting up or modifying test infrastructure.

Teamwork:

  • Strive to ensure full satisfaction of both the customer and other departments within the factory.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Quality:
    • Ensure correct handling of products during testing, failure analysis, and repair stages.
    • Release only quality products.
  • Production Support:
    • Coordinate with the group leader and/or direct supervisor regarding testing and repair sequences to meet production targets.
  • Customer Focus:
    • Recognize the importance of both internal and external customers and act to provide the best possible products and services.
  • Order and Cleanliness:
    • Ensure a consistently clean and safe working environment.
    • Hand over a clean workstation at the end of each shift.
    • Pay special attention to test and failure analysis equipment, which may require specific maintenance or cleaning.
  • Maintenance:
    • Maintain test and partially IT-related infrastructure (network cabling, test stations, input devices, test tools, hipot testers, etc.).
    • Monitor stock levels of spare parts and consumables.
  • Reporting:
    • Prepare end-of-shift reports, documenting all relevant events and activities.
  • Attitude:
    • Maintain a positive, flexible, and cooperative attitude to help achieve team goals.

    Job Specifications

    • Qualifications / Experience:
      • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
      • Secondary-level IT education.
      • Willingness to travel abroad on short notice.
      • Higher education is an advantage.
      • Strong communication skills across all organizational levels.
      • Full understanding of the production process.
      • Reliability, strong organizational skills, and ability to delegate.
      • Ability to prioritize tasks and make sound decisions.
      • Positive attitude toward work.
      • Flexibility and willingness to temporarily take on tasks outside of the main role.
      • A team player.
      • Accurate analytical skills.
      • Strong teamwork and adaptability.
