Debone Plant Supervisor - 2nd Shift

About the role

This is a 2nd shift position. You will lead, coach, and train a team, providing professional development through ongoing coaching. Safety is of the utmost importance; you will constantly promote safety throughout the work area and with your team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper scheduling to run the production area
• Motivate, train, and help the team to optimize performance
• Ensure compliance with company policies and established food safety programs
• Optimize employee engagement through positive leadership
• All other relevant duties related to the job of a supervisor

Requirements

• 2+ years of leadership and/or supervisory experience required
• Bachelor’s degree in Poultry Science, Animal Science, Business Management, or other related field of study preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient technology, computer, mathematical, and analytical skills
• General knowledge of plant operations, food safety regulations, OSHA guidelines, GMPs, and HACCP
• Sound work ethic, honesty, and moral character

Physical Requirements

• Occasionally lift up to 25 lbs
• Exposure to noise (>85 decibels), CO₂, and moving production lines
• Exposure to damp, wet, and cold environments
• Work around live and/or raw animal odors
