Dean's Office Specialist, Administrative Analyst/Specialist, Non-Exempt
Job Summary
The Dean’s Office Specialist (Specialist) supports the Dean, the Director, and departments within the College of Humanities, Social Sciences, and the Arts. Duties include providing administrative, technical, and analytical support, handling multiple priorities, and interacting with all levels inside and outside the university.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent administrative work experience
- Three years of experience in office administration preferred
- Working knowledge of social media communications preferred
- Strong written and oral communication skills required
- Intermediate proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office Suite required
- Knowledge of Google Suite, Qualtrics, Drupal, desktop publishing, and PeopleSoft preferred
Salary and Benefits
This is a full-time, non-exempt position leading towards permanent status after a probationary period. Salary range is $4,799 - $6,992 per month (step 1 - step 20), with step placement determined by qualifications and experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, retirement (CalPERS), tuition waiver, vacation, and sick leave. Additional benefits include 15 paid holidays and eligibility for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program (PSLF).
