Dealership Driver / Automotive Detailer

Sterling Premium Select on Johnston St. in Lafayette, LA is hiring! We are looking for motivated individuals who take pride in serving Acadiana and being a part of a successful family-owned and operated business. As a Dealership Driver / Automotive Detailer, you will primarily be responsible for safely transporting vehicles between Sterling Automotive Group dealership locations while also assisting with vehicle detailing and maintaining the appearance of inventory. This is an entry-level opportunity with room for growth within the automotive industry. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Safely transport vehicles between Sterling Automotive Group dealership locationsPick up and deliver vehicles as needed to support dealership operationsFollow all traffic laws and company safety procedures while operating vehiclesInspect vehicles for obvious issues before and after transportation and report any concernsMaintain accurate records of vehicle pickups, deliveries, and transfers as neededAssist with washing, drying, and detailing vehicle interiors and exteriorsVacuum interiors and clean upholstery, carpets, and surfacesMaintain cleanliness of work areas, showroom, and vehicle lotsWork outdoors in various weather conditionsPerform other duties as assigned Qualifications & Job Requirements Must be at least 21 years of age OR have 3 years of licensed driving experience, due to insurance purposesValid driver’s license with a clean driving recordPrevious professional driving or automotive experience preferred but not requiredAutomotive detailing experience preferred but not requiredStrong attention to safety and ability to operate vehicles responsiblyCoachable with strong communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamReliable and punctual with a strong work ethicMust be willing to submit to pre-employment background check and drug screen Schedule: Full-time, may require some Saturdays Why Choose Sterling?
