Position Summary

The Dealership Controller is responsible for overseeing all dealership accounting operations, financial reporting, reconciliations, internal controls, and accounting personnel. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with dealership accounting experience who can identify issues, implement processes, develop staff, and provide timely and accurate financial information to support business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all dealership accounting operations
• Develop and implement procedures for streamlining processes
• Support necessary for completing reviews, audits, and corporate requests
• Seek opportunities for process enhancements
• Suggest, plan, and implement new policies and procedures as required
• Lead accounting operations-related special projects

Requirements

• Experience in dealership accounting
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to identify issues and implement solutions
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA certification preferred
• 5+ years of relevant experience in dealership accounting
