Dealership Accounting Coordinator I
About the role
Process Daily Transactions: Handle daily check and credit card deposits and assist with reconciling the cash sales accounting schedule.
Audit Car Deals: Review deals for accuracy and completeness using the Deal Checklist before submission to the Accounting Processing Center.
Track and Report Issues: Maintain notes on missing or incorrect items in the Booked and Pending report and support compliance tracking.
Support Documentation and Compliance: Scan documents into the Digital Deal Jacket and review IRS Form 8300s for accuracy.
Collaborate with Store Operations: Work with store teams and Business Managers to implement process changes and ensure revenue recognition.
Assist with Accounting Schedules: Help maintain reconciled accounting schedules as assigned by the Business Manager.
Cross-Train and Provide Backup: Learn the Title & Registration Specialist role to support other accounting functions when needed.
Meet Performance Standards: Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency in all assigned tasks.

Qualifications
Previous automotive dealership accounting experience
High School graduate or equivalent required
18 years or older

The full hourly range for this position is $16.85-26.46 an hour.
The anticipated starting pay for this role is $19-25+, based on factors such as skills, experience, and internal equity.
Final compensation will be determined through the interview process and in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.

The full hourly range for this position is $16.85-26.46 an hour.
The anticipated starting pay for this role is $19-25+, based on factors such as skills, experience, and internal equity.
