Dealer Sales Representative
Job Summary
The Dealer Sales Representative is responsible for dealer business development, strengthening dealer relationships, supporting special promotions, and enhancing the performance of existing indirect lending partnerships.
Essential Functions, Duties, And Responsibilities

Congduct on-site sales calls with dealer partners, serving as the primary liaison between the Credit Union and dealerships; document all interactions within the CRM.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all dealer communications and activities in the CRM system.

Audit underperforming or problem dealers and conduct appropriate follow-up actions.

Participate in community events and industry-related activities to support business development and enhance the Credit Union’s presence within the local dealer network.

Leverage technology and reporting tools to analyze performance, identify trends, and implement actionable improvements.

Perform due diligence required to onboard new auto dealership partners in accordance with established policies.

Ensure compliance with Dealer Due Diligence policies for both new and existing dealer relationships.

Evaluate dealer performance and submit recommendations for deactivation based on adverse findings, financial concerns, or risk factors, with thorough CRM documentation.

Stay informed on developments, trends, and opportunities within the automotive lending industry.

Comply with company vehicle policies, including submitting monthly reports for mileage, inspections, and maintenance.

Provide support for dealer-related collections, chargebacks, and title activities as needed.

Complete special projects and additional duties as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (BA) from a four-year college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum of five (5) years of experience in auto finance, dealership operations, or a related field.

Working knowledge of credit underwriting practices in auto finance is preferred.
Targeted Salary Range
- $57,100 - $72,000+ commission structure, based on qualifications and experience
