Dealer Development Representative
About the role
The primary responsibility is to execute all company strategies and initiatives at Floor Covering Dealers. This includes supporting Dealers and Contractors with daily activities and developing strong relationships to gain new and incremental business.
Responsibilities
Present, demonstrate, and actively promote the full range of current and new products to Dealers within the assigned territory.
Ensure consistent, professional, and impactful marketing presence in Dealer Showrooms by managing and maintaining grout samples, product displays, point-of-sale materials, brochures, and other marketing resources.
Educate distributor sales representatives on Laticrete products and motivate them to promote the brand.
Work with RSM and regional sales team to develop a target list of Dealers and Contractors.
Partner with existing distribution to evaluate historical purchases and identify growth opportunities.
Submit quarterly reports summarizing LATICRETE performance.
Assist Technical Services on claim inspections and gather necessary information.
Participate in ride-along sales calls with pro channel distributor sales reps.
Leverage local TSIS, Concrete Prep, and MVIS sales teams to assist with closing key account targets.
Requirements
2+ years of related work experience in Sales or in the Construction industry.
Valid driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and a good driving record.
Physical strength to lift and carry 50 pounds.
High level of self-motivation.
Strong organizational skills.
Creative thinking.
Strong written communication skills.
Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook).
Spanish language proficiency (written and verbal) highly preferred.
Qualifications
Ability to do presentations to large groups.
Team cooperation - maintain a positive, cooperative attitude with all employees of LATICRETE and all customers.
