Job Summary
In this role, you will be responsible for dealing a variety of casino games in accordance with established Mississippi Gaming Commission rules and regulations. As a key representative of the casino, you will create a welcoming and entertaining atmosphere, ensuring a positive gaming experience for all guests.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Congduct and oversee table games with professionalism and accuracy.
- Interact with guests, explaining game rules and resolving disputes in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Handle gaming chips and payouts efficiently and accurately.
- Monitor and report any suspicious activities or potential security risks.
- Uphold gaming regulations and adhere to casino policies.

- Customer Service Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with diverse guests.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in handling chips, money, and game rules. Observational skills to monitor player actions and identify any irregularities.
- Mathematical Proficiency: Quick mental arithmetic to calculate payouts and manage bets efficiently.
- Knowledge of Games: Thorough understanding of the rules, procedures, and strategies for casino games such as blackjack, poker, roulette, baccarat, and others.

Education And Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent and experience as a dealer or has attended a dealers’ school.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
- Standing for Extended Periods: Must be able to stand for long hours during shifts, often in a stationary position at a gaming table.
- Manual Dexterity: Ability to shuffle and deal cards quickly and accurately. Handling and managing chips with precision.
- Hand-Eye Coordination: Quick and accurate movements to manage cards, chips, and other gaming equipment effectively.
- Visual Acuity: Strong eyesight to read cards, monitor player actions, and ensure accurate payouts. Ability to distinguish colors for chips and table layouts.
- Hearing Ability: Good hearing to respond to guest inquiries, follow instructions, and communicate effectively in a noisy environment.
- Physical Stamina: Endurance to maintain energy and attentiveness throughout shifts, often in a fast-paced and high-pressure setting.
- Mobility: Ability to move around the gaming area as needed, such as rotating tables or assisting with other tasks.
