De Snag Painter

About the role

We’re looking for a skilled De-Snag Painter / Vehicle Paint Technician to join our Manufacturing team in Warwick. This role plays a key part in the final stages of production, supporting vehicle inspection, paint rectification, and quality finishing to ensure vehicles leave site in excellent condition.

Responsibilities

• Rectifying paint defects, blemishes, and minor damage to vehicles
• Carrying out de-snagging, local repairs, and paint finishing (blow-ins)
• Masking and preparing vehicles prior to paint application
• Checking for missed areas and ensuring a high-quality finish
• Supporting work within the spray booth when required
• Recording issues and sign-off activities using internal systems
• Working collaboratively with manufacturing teams to maintain quality standards

Requirements

• Experience in vehicle painting, automotive refinishing, or paint shop production
• Knowledge of paint preparation, masking, and local repair techniques
• Understanding of health & safety within a paint shop environment
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Good attention to detail and a focus on delivering consistent quality
• Flexible approach to supporting different areas of the paint process

Qualifications

No formal qualifications are required, but experience in a similar role is essential.

Pay

Up to £18.43 per hour, DOE

Schedule

37 hours per week | between 06:00 - 15:30 Monday to Thursday
