DDS Awake Overnight Counselor (32 Hours) - West Brookfield Downstairs

Description and Responsibilities

Awake Overnight Counselors support individuals with a developmental disability and/or mental illness live as independently as possible, while providing guidance and performing various levels of assisted daily living skills. Counselors act as strong advocates for individuals served and understand the importance of community integration.

• Assist in implementing individualized service plans.
• Assist with limited personal care, which includes direct care duties, occasional lifting, medication administration (with training), documentation, transportation, behavioral intervention, role modeling, and recreational activities.
• Implement all procedures that ensure the health, safety, and well-being of individuals and general cleanliness and safety of the physical site.
• Aid individuals to access and/or provide transportation.
• Review and complete all required documentation.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• A valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record required.
• Reliability, willingness to learn, and being open to new opportunities.

Base Rate USD $20.00/Hr.
