About the Role
The Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Unit oversees the Department's Case Process Review (CPR) and drives continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to strengthen policy, practice, and service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the CPR reviews, including preparing review tools, coordinating case randomization, monitoring completion, communicating action items, and analyzing and reporting review results.
- Identify risk and areas of improvement to meet accreditation requirements.
- Support statewide CQI workgroups and lead special projects.
- Contribute to other quality assurance activities, including COA case file reviews and the Tennessee Children First Review (TCFR).
- Provide staff mentorship and assist with supervisory duties during the supervisor's absence or as operational needs require.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree.
- Five years of professional work experience in one or a combination of the following:
- Counseling or case management services.
- Program evaluation of counseling or case management services, with at least two years focused on children's and/or juvenile services program evaluation.
- Graduate coursework in social work, criminal justice, psychology, sociology, human services, and/or child development may substitute for up to two years of the required experience (e.g., 36 graduate quarter hours may substitute for one year of experience).
- Experience equivalent to two years as a DCS Program Specialist or DCS Program Coordinator with the State of Tennessee may substitute for the required experience.
Pay
Annual Salary: $67,764.00 - $87,912.00
