Responsibilities

  • Helps to manage the inventory in the Distribution Center.
  • Drives the process accuracy through conversation and operations that help to identify Distribution Center needs.
  • Communicates to the entire Distribution Center team that they are all responsible for inventory accuracy.
  • Leads inventory accuracy through audits and observations.
  • Directs product removal through damage process.
  • Performs daily cycle counts and quality control checks.
  • Aids in product movement by operating equipment as needed.
  • Helps manage out of stocks and back to stock process.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Inventory Control field, preferred; retail experience a plus.
  • Ability to operate Order (Cherry) Picker.
  • No fear of heights!
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft programs.
  • Able to perform basic arithmetic skills.
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner.
  • Knowledge of industry business and passion for following trends in the industry.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, at all levels within and outside the organization.
  • Quickly separates the mission-critical tasks from the lower priority tasks; focuses on the most value-added projects of the day or week.
  • Flexible, with a positive attitude and passion for knowledge.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to successfully manage multiple projects at once.
  • Possesses focused attention to detail and solid organizational and prioritization skills while working quickly and accurately under pressure.
