DC Forklift Operator 2nd Shift ($23.50/hr; M-F)

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing the day-to-day workflow of the department
• Aid in meeting daily, weekly, and monthly department goals
• Resolve day-to-day operational issues
• Train and motivate subordinates to improve current performance
• Cultivate an environment of continuous improvement by improving efficiency, accuracy, quality, and reducing costs
• Work with the team to ensure the department is clean, organized, secure, and safe at all times
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory (preferred)
• 0-3 years of experience
• Proven ability to train others
• Full proficiency in multiple core warehouse functions
• Proven understanding of safety regulations and procedures
• Proven problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Computer proficient
• Strong organization skills and leadership qualities to take and give team direction
