Forklift Operator - 2nd Shift $18.25 / Hour (includes shift differential)

About the role

Woodbridge Chattanooga Formed Plastics L.P. is seeking a Forklift Operator for the 2nd shift (2:45 pm – 11:15 pm) at $16.00 per hour plus shift differential. Benefits begin on day one.

Responsibilities

• Move materials within the manufacturing warehouse and shipping areas.
• Ensure inventory accuracy by scanning all products into the warehouse.
• Use material handling equipment such as wagons, hand trucks, or forklift trucks as needed.
• Store materials safely and neatly.
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks, including unloading bead.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to assist customers.
• Report any defects in materials during handling.
• Maintain good housekeeping in the warehouse.
• Provide supplies required on the production floor.
• Complete paperwork accurately and on time.
• Perform inventory counts as required.
• Participate in the 5S program.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in an organized manner to maintain steady product flow from production to warehouse.
• Familiar with product codes and proper material storage locations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift.
• Ability to accurately complete paperwork and perform basic math for inventory counts.
• Physically capable of heavy lifting when required.
• Availability for shift hours: 2:45 pm – 11:15 pm, Monday – Friday; some weekends may be required.
