Forklift Operator - 2nd Shift - $24.39

Responsibilities

• Operate RF scanner and other Company equipment
• Inspect and perform minor maintenance on forklift and other Company equipment
• Unload inbound and outbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations
• Efficiently stack and store product in appropriate areas
• Receive product and troubleshoot problems to resolution
• Affirm accuracy of shipments and supporting documentation
• Filling work orders from production, packaging assemblies and receiving into finished goods
• Ensure inventory transaction are accurately logged and oversee cycle counts and reconciliation activities
• Efficiently move products from locations to include trailers
• Verify that the quality of product being sent outbound meets the customer expectations and report discoveries of non-conformance of product quality to Company standards
• Recommend measures to improve quality of service, increasing efficiency of department and work crew and equipment performance
• Maintain appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security measures are maintained
• Afford assistance in physical inventory counts
• Ensure proper stock rotations
• Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work environment that complies with OSHA, MSDS, and Company standards
• Enforce corporate policies regarding security and safety to maintain a safe working environment

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma/GED is required
• 0-2 years in a warehouse environment is preferred
• Experience in food manufacturing is preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite in addition to knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures
