About the role
Join as a DBT Therapist-In-Training to support individuals in achieving emotional wellness and recovery. Under supervision, you'll provide assessment, diagnosis, and diverse psychotherapy services, with a focus on Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and evidence-based practices.
Responsibilities
- Deliver individual, family, couples, and group therapy
- Facilitate DBT skills training in mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness
- Conduct clinical assessments and develop treatment plans
- Provide psychoeducation and skill-building services
- Participate in team meetings and supervision
- Maintain accurate documentation
- Deliver trauma-informed, person-centered care
Qualifications
- Master's degree in a behavioral health field
- Eligibility for a training license
- Practicum experience
- Preferably DBT training or willingness to complete it
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
