Daytime Triage Technician – Veterinary ER/ICU

About the role

The role of Triage Veterinary Technician at BluePearl Pet Hospital is an exciting, fast-paced opportunity that allows you to utilize your skills and expand your abilities. You will triage patients, collect histories, keep ER workflow moving, monitor vitals, jump into CPR when needed, support diagnostics and treatments, place IVCs and learn advanced lines, provide updates to clients, assist with phone triage for incoming ER cases, help maintain a clean, organized space, and work alongside a highly skilled team delivering advanced care.

Responsibilities

• Triage patients and collect histories
• Keep ER workflow moving
• Maintain patient vitals (incoming and hospitalized)
• Jump into CPR when needed
• Support diagnostics and treatments
• Place IVCs and learn advanced lines (Central/PICC)
• Provide updates to clients
• Aid in phone triage for incoming ER cases
• Help maintain a clean, organized space
• Work alongside a highly skilled team delivering advanced care

Requirements

• Full-time (weekends + holidays required)
• Must be able to work 6:30am – 3:30pm
• Unrestricted, current authorization to work in the U.S.
• Not requiring future sponsorship for an employment-based green card

Qualifications

• Experience in a veterinary setting preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic knowledge of veterinary medicine and emergency care

Skills

Thursday – Saturday and every other Wednesday from 6:30am – 3:30pm
