About the role
Potbelly Sandwich Shop is seeking friendly and outgoing individuals to join our team. We are a nationwide chain with over 400 locations, known for our toasty sandwiches and positive work culture.
Responsibilities
- Help customers enjoy lunch by providing fast, friendly, and efficient service
- Prep food, serve customers, and manage allergens
- Manage multiple stations and follow health and safety standards
- Clean and restock the food line, prepare sandwiches, and handle customer complaints
- Operate cash register and handle customer orders
Requirements
- At least 16 years old
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, energetic environment
- Comfortable working in a kitchen environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
Qualifications
- Food safety certification required for Illinois applicants within 30 days of employment

Schedule
Join our team to help open the shop, prep food, and serve customers. Morning and day shifts ranging from 8am-4pm are available. You don't need to be available the entire time, but you must have availability within this window.
