Daytime Shifts – Home Care Aide Jobs (PCA, HHA, CNA)
About the role
CareGivers is a licensed home care agency with 12 branches in Upstate New York and Western Pennsylvania. We provide quality, compassionate home care services and are currently seeking experienced Certified Patient Care Assistants (PCAs), Home Health Aides ( HHAs ), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care to clients, ensuring they feel clean and refreshed
- Help prepare meals and maintain a healthy living environment
- Tidying up homes to promote client health and safety
- Ensure clients follow their medication schedules
- Other care as needed to keep clients safe
- Transition from CNA to HHA with a free one-day class
- Qualified nursing students can work as HHA’s
- Maintain a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
Requirements
- Must be certified PCA*, HHA, or CNA
- Must have at least 3 months of previous caregiving experience in the last three years to qualify for PCA certification
- Must be caring, dependable, and meet health requirements
- Must be 18 or older
Qualifications
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including daytime shifts on weekdays
- Must be available for travel between clients’ homes
Benefits
