CNA Home Health Aide (DAY SHIFT)

Responsibilities

• Provides care in homes, apartments, assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities, etc.
• Assists with personal care activities: bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, hair/skin care, and feeding.
• Assists with medication management by reminding clients to take medication as needed.
• Performs exercises, ambulation, and transfer activities as directed.
• Prepares meals, does laundry, and performs housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment.
• Offers basic emotional and psychological support to clients and other household members.
• Accompanies clients to doctor’s visits, clinics, and social functions.
• Observes and reports any changes in clients' abilities or needs for safety issues.
• Documents care/activities provided according to agency policy.

Requirements

• CNA Certification and License
• Valid driver's license in good standing
• Proof of auto insurance
• Previous caregiving experience is strongly preferred
