CNA/Home Health Aide/PCA - 12 hr shifts

About the role

Griswold Home Care in the Merrimack Valley is looking to hire a full-time Home Health Aide to provide elderly care and home companionship for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Help clients manage daily living tasks within their homes
• Provide cheerful companionship and assistance with various responsibilities
• Assist with tasks such as laundry, meal preparation, and grocery shopping
• Provide non-medical care that preserves clients' dignity
• Bathe and maintain personal hygiene for clients
• Provide caregiving services for clients with dementia or cognitive impairments
• Submit accurate documentation at the end of each shift

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• 2+ years of home care experience is preferred; caring for a loved one counts!
• Enjoy working with seniors
• Can provide compassionate elderly care and companionship
• Can maintain a positive attitude while helping with household tasks

Benefits

• Competitive wage of $19-22/hr

This companionship and caregiving position has flexible scheduling with day and night shifts available. Clients may receive as little as 4 hours of care, while others require 24-hour care.
