Day Warehouse Associate

About the role

We are seeking a full-time Day Warehouse Associate to join Loffredo Fresh Foods in Kansas City, MO. Loffredo Fresh Foods is a local, family-owned food and produce distributor with over 130 years of experience serving the Midwest region.

Responsibilities

• Navigate the warehouse to select items according to order specifications
• Prepare orders for shipment accurately and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and adhere to all safety guidelines
• Accurately select and pack orders for internal and external shipments
• Perform all other assigned duties

Requirements

• Previous warehouse and pallet jack experience preferred
• Able to work in a refrigerated environment for 8+ hours
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 75+ lbs. occasionally
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Able to take direction from all levels of management
• Able to work independently within a team setting

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to pass a background check

Pay

$16 to $17 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule

Hours: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday - Wednesday, Friday, Saturday
Days Off: Thursday & Sunday
